Privacy Policy
Effective date: 18 June 2026
Citely is a brand operated by HR Plus (Talent). This Privacy Policy explains how HR Plus (Talent) collects, uses, stores and handles personal data through the Citely website in connection with SEO, AEO and related marketing services.
HR Plus (Talent) is located at Level 47, Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Ave, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. Privacy-related enquiries may be sent to contact@hrplus.info or made by phone at +852 6090 0019.
This Privacy Policy is intended to help users understand what personal data may be collected, why it is collected, how it may be used, and what rights individuals may have under applicable Hong Kong law, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO"). The PDPO requires personal data to be collected for a lawful purpose directly related to the organisation's functions, and the data collected should be adequate but not excessive for that purpose.
Personal data collected
Citely may collect personal data when a user submits a booking form or enquiry form through the website. The form fields may include:
Name
Company name
Email address
Message or enquiry details
Budget information, where voluntarily provided
Under Hong Kong privacy guidance, when personal data is collected directly from an individual, the person should be told the purpose of collection, the classes of persons to whom the data may be transferred, whether it is obligatory or voluntary to provide the data, the consequences of not providing it, and the person's rights of access and correction.
Providing the budget field is optional. If a user does not provide requested information, Citely may be limited in its ability to respond fully to the enquiry or assess whether its services are suitable.
How personal data is used
Citely may use collected personal data for the following purposes:
To respond to enquiries and communicate with prospective clients
To assess project requirements and service suitability
To provide quotations, proposals or service-related information
To manage and improve website content and service delivery
To maintain internal business records
To send marketing communications about Citely's services, where appropriate, with an option to opt out at any time
Under the PDPO, personal data should not be used for a new purpose unless the individual has given prescribed consent, and personal data used for direct marketing is subject to additional notification and consent requirements.
Citely does not use tracking pixels and does not offer online payments through the website.
Direct marketing
Citely may send marketing communications about its services to individuals who have contacted the business through the website. Such communications will relate to Citely's services and recipients may opt out at any time by contacting HR Plus (Talent) at contact@hrplus.info.
Hong Kong's direct marketing regime requires a data user to inform the individual of the intention to use personal data for direct marketing and to provide a means for the individual to communicate consent, and the individual has the right to require the data user to cease using the data for direct marketing without charge.
Where required by law, Citely will not use personal data for direct marketing without the relevant consent or indication of no objection.
Disclosure and access
Personal data submitted through the Citely website is accessible only to authorised personnel within HR Plus (Talent). Based on the information provided for this policy, Citely does not store personal data outside Hong Kong and does not use a separate CRM, booking platform, or external email marketing platform for website form submissions.
The PDPO's security principle requires data users to take practicable steps to protect personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use.
If Citely later engages service providers to process personal data, appropriate contractual or other safeguards should be adopted to prevent unauthorised access and unnecessary retention of the data.
Search and website tools
Citely uses tools such as Google Search Console and Semrush for website performance, search visibility and SEO-related analysis. These tools are used to understand and improve website performance and online discoverability.
The website may also use cookies or similar basic website technologies where necessary for website operation or performance. Users should understand that internet transmissions involve inherent security risks and no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Retention and security
Citely retains personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Under Hong Kong guidance, personal data should not be kept longer than necessary, and when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was used, the data user must take practicable steps to erase it.
Citely takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no internet-based system can be completely secure.
Access and correction requests
Individuals may request access to personal data held about them and may request correction of inaccurate personal data by contacting HR Plus (Talent) at contact@hrplus.info.
Under Hong Kong guidance, data subjects are entitled to request access to and correction of their personal data, and a data user is generally required to respond within 40 days.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updated version will be published on the website with a revised effective date.

This Privacy Policy is intended as a general statement of Citely's website data handling practices based on the current website setup described by HR Plus (Talent). It should be reviewed and updated if website features, tools, data flows, or marketing practices change.
